Remove New Folder.exe, Enable Task Manager & Regedit

The idea for this post actually was inspired by Steve Yu . Whenever my siblings bring back any pen drive from somewhere else, they confirm will get those horrible malware to any 3 computers at my home.

Not only my house’s PCs, even my cousin who just bought the pc on last few months also get these malware that disable your task manager, disable your registry and automatically create New Folder.exe on your pen drive.

The reasons that I post here because I did not install any freeware utilities like Avast whenever I have formatted my pc. So, malware and spyware always like to disturb my pc.

RegRun and taskmanagerfix is specifically for you to remove New Folder.exe, enable regedit and task manager. Try it out if you have any trouble.

    Hahaahaha!

    Anyway, if you’re interested, the latest version of AVG Free has a “Spyware” database, and I guess it’s supposed to help stop malwares.

    I personally don’t know how good it is, because I don’t use AVG… :)

    “With linux, you dn’t need anti virus and anti spywares. Surf all you want.” – Yea, but then you’d run into compatibility issues. There’s a reason why a majority of people go for mainstream-er OS you know.

    If those software don’t help.. there’s always google and the tonnes and tonnes of sites with step by step instructions on how to remove rogue registry keys, re-enable administrator rights, finding hidden files etc. Jussst incase more software on your computer isn’t what you really need.

    BYE!

    @usws

    compatibility is not an issue anymore with Linux. All the basic things you need for computing comes pre-installed. Like openoffice, gimp, pdf reader etc. If you’re talking about games, windows based can be played through wine. Other windows application can be run through crossover. So better check it out.

    @Joshuaun

    hey we’re using the same OS, Kubuntu. Congatulations!
