Based on the previous Penang post, some of my friends demand for Part II. Aiyo my friends, I not like you able to describe until so fantastic.Had you been to clubbing place before? Probably you went to Maison, Poppy, Zouk and etc. before. Before you enter a clubbing place, there are crowded of people standing outside to get ready enjoy themselves via liquor or beer.

I still remember when I check-in Gurney Hotel that time, receptionist had given a free welcome drinks in Chill Out Bar. This should be my first time enter Penang Bar to see how fun was it. So, I went to Harry and XinQi and the rest of them went to play mahjong in the hotel.

First door there were few ladies singing some oldies or r&b and second door broadcasting some old school music. Hoho, of course auntie sing oldies or r&b songs not my type loh, some more their body not good enough. So we decided to enjoy old school music on the other room.

After went in, not even 1 people were sitting there have their drinks or dance except bartender and DJ were doing their job right there. So Mr. Harry went to ask one of the bartender why no people today. Bartender told Mr. Harry “this bar everyday (yat 7) also no people, you’re from KL sure very dulan (angry) right? ” I wonder if the bar continues goes on, do you think the bar is close soon?

Too bad, I never capture any pictures of that bar with no customer inside. I was too scary to take a picture on that time. Otherwise I can share with my reader already hoho.

Usually I went to Penang with my sister and my dear. This is the first time I went to Penang with a group of friends. 7 of us sit in Gen2 and Myvi and all the way speeding from KL to Ipoh, and Ipoh to Penang.

Our first station was in McD which located in front of Inti Subang. Second station was at Ipon town to have this delicious dim sum - FuSan Restuarant. We took more than 30 minutes to find the restaurant due to we’re not Ipoh-kia.

After our breakfast at Ipoh, two drivers were very dulan the way of Ipoh people driving skill. I told them stay tune and see Penangties’ driving skill-lah. I know VIP bloggers especially Steven Goh was from Penang. Sorry-ah but then Penangties driving skill really pro!! They don’t even need to give a signal to other drivers when they need to turn left or right lanes one.

Talk about Penang, we were lost in this small island almost 1 hour at the KOMTAR road because we couldn’t get the right road to Persiaran Gurney. May be we like Malays so much thats why we keep turned to the wrong area - Malay kampong. I really need to thanks to my sister’s boyfriend who guided me to Gurney Hotel. (Hey my gang! Screen!! KOMTAR Screen!!)

Dining table become Mahjong table. Can see that lan-dou alwyn showing mahjong and showed peace to you?

I stay in Gurney Hotel for a night. I really need to comment many things about this hotel since it was the first time I stayed there. Firstly, I booked Two Suite Room Package with a Dining Room, Living Room and Jacuzzi provided.

Eventough there is good room but the services are DAMN bad.(one from heaven, another from hell). When I check-in that time, the receptionist told me the room was not ready on that time. Come-on! 3pm that time you still cannot prepare a room for your guest ar? OK! I can wait so we went to Pulau Tikus tried the famous Mee Goreng recommended by Astro AEC’s Ah Xian. After finish our meals that time already 4pm+ come on I didn’t receive any calls at all.

You know what, during check-out time, I suddenly remember I supposed to have breakfast set for my hotel room package. Same receptionist told me “oh you can straight away go up and take your breakfast” C

ome on! Receptionists please inform your guest earlier-lah!!!!

I don’t want to say much, it’s already over I can tell you my overall rating for The Gurney Hotel 3/5 just because of their services.
